One of the best things about booking with Spain Private Guides is that every experience is tailored just for you. Whether you’re looking for a guided tour, a day excursion, or a unique experience, we offer a wide range of options, and our prices vary based on what you need and how we can best make it happen!
On this page, you’ll find an overview of our general pricing, the types of tours we offer, and a preview of our signature services, all designed to help you create a personalised itinerary for your journey through Spain.
To create a fully personalised tour or multi-day itinerary, we’ll need a few key details from you: your preferences, your travel timeframe, and any special considerations you’d like us to take into account. Once we have this information, we’ll design a fantastic itinerary that’s perfectly suited to your needs.
Most historical centres in Spain are pedestrian-only areas, meaning the best way to explore them is with a walking tour. If your hotel is far from the historical centre or the tour’s starting point, our guide can pick you up and take you there by public transport or taxi.
To fully experience the historical centre of most cities, we recommend a 3- to 4-hour walking tour. If you prefer to take your time, enjoy a coffee break, and capture plenty of photos, we’re happy to extend the tour by an extra hour.
For many travellers, it’s easier and more comfortable to stay in the main cities and take day excursions from there to explore nearby towns and attractions. At Spain Private Guides, we’ve designed a variety of private day trips and experiences from major cities across the country. No matter where you’re staying, you can enjoy a day trip to experience a gourmet adventure, uncover hidden treasures, or relax along Spain’s stunning coastline with one of our local guides.
For most of these day excursions, we’ll arrange a private chauffeured service, in addition to your local guide. For other excursions, you can choose between a chauffeured service or taking advantage of Spain’s excellent train system. Please feel free to ask us, as in some cases, taking the train can save you a couple of hours.
Spain offers a wide variety of museums and historical sites, no matter which part of the Iberian Peninsula you plan to visit. From world-famous landmarks like the Alhambra to hidden gems like the Leyre Monastery, at Spain Private Guides, we’re here to help you explore them with the best local guides.
For most world-famous historical sites, it’s important to book your tour in advance, as there are limited daily tickets, often with strict time slots. Typically, the best times to visit these sites are in the afternoon.
Sagrada Familia in Barcelona, the Alhambra in Granada, the Mezquita-Catedral of Córdoba, the Royal Palace of Olite in Navarra, the Royal Alcázar and the Cathedral in Seville, the Cathedral in Toledo, El Escorial near Madrid, and many more.
When it comes to Art Museums, because Spain is the birthplace of some of the greatest painters in history, it’s impossible to see everything! So, depending on your interests, we’d love to help you choose the best options. Visiting a museum with us is usually part of a themed city experience. For example, on Picasso’s tour in Barcelona, we explore the artist’s connection to the city before visiting his museum.
On the other hand, some visitors prefer a more focused experience, seeking a guided tour of a specific museum. This is also possible and offers an excellent way to discover the most important artworks, with explanations from our expert guides. These museum tours typically last about 2 hours, depending on the museum.
Consider extra time after your tour to explore the museum on your own.
The best time for a museum visit is usually in the afternoon, when it is less crowded. Most museums stay open until 8 PM or later during high-season months.
Museum tours are also easy to combine with other experiences, such as a gourmet dinner in the evening or a city tour in the morning.
As Tourism Artisans, we do more than provide guides for adventurous travellers. We offer a range of services to ensure your trip is hassle-free and seamless, including our Signature Services, which feature custom-designed multi-day, tailor-made itineraries.
A multi-day tailor-made itinerary involves more than five days of travel, carefully crafted to suit our travellers’ needs. This service can include overnight stays in different cities with hotel recommendations, guided tours and experiences, restaurant suggestions, and transportation—whether by public transport or private vehicles.
Spain is one of the largest wine producers in the world, with hundreds of wineries to explore. Of course, we have our favourites, which stand out for their high-quality wines and something truly special—whether it’s the rich history of the family business, stunning architecture, or even remarkable art collections.
Each winery has its own expert guide, knowledgeable about the place and the wines they produce. At Spain Private Guides, we can arrange all types of wine tours and tastings across Spain. Our local guide will accompany you and your group to these wineries as part of a broader itinerary, but once there, the winery’s guide will take over the explanations
